Bentley provides us with a first look at their new luxury SUV called the Falcon. With a price tag of 200,000 euros and rumoured to have a 600hp engine, the Bentley Falcon will be rolled out in 2016.
Now there’s a first official picture of the new Bentley, which is to create, according to brand chief Wolfgang Schreiber, “an entirely new segment in the SUV market.” The “most luxurious and most powerful SUV on the market” is to be built in the UK and creates according to the manufacturer more than 1,000 new jobs.
The five meter long Falcon is a revised version of the concept Bentley EXP 9F from the Geneva Motor Show in 2012. The response from the trade show audience was so positive that Bentley decided to go ahead with the development of the Falcon.
It’s the first of its kind in the history of Bentley, and according to British officials, the SUV has already received 2,000 orders, even if the final version was not seen by anyone yet. The premises are extremely optimistic as the manufacturer is estimating to sell 3,000 units per year.
